Thank you Mr. Edwards, for your intelligent insights and for "getting it." I would love to be of service around Black Coaches. We are currently revamping our business models, so please stay tune. Given your wisdom, it would be an honor to stand in unison with you also.

I recently read The Black Paper and was introduced to your work only a week ago. Interestingly enough, I had just (one week prior) had a conversation with a good friend regading how Blacks have an affinity to "the struggle" and fighting the powers that be. It seems that there is concentration or focus on fighting those "powers" (if you will), but consequently, what you focus on expands. My contention was that, right thinking will not only yield the results you desire (by guiding you to right action), but you will be better suited for whatever agenda you choose for yourself. Reacting to circumstances isn't choice at all and everytime we "fight the power," we abdicate our own power. You have so eloquently put into words something that I have been desiring to say but fell at a loss of words. Than you...and please bring your coaching association around the states or at least to Atlanta so that I can become certified with your association. It would be a privilege to stand in unison with Professional Black Coaches but also be in alliance with a vision that parallels my own. Onward ever...Peace.

All I can say is WOW! Although, for the most part, I have believed I could do and be anything, there was always a nagging limiting belief about being a black woman professional, that we usually have to "struggle" more than others.

Veronica Conway's The Black Paper is an eye opener even for those of us who are "successful." Many of my clients are physicians and by most definitions would be considered successful but still feel constrained compared to their "majority" colleagues. As a coach and physician, I know that unconcious and condtioned beliefs are the major obstacles preventing my clients from achieving success and health. These central or core beliefs are what have to change for the client to move forward.

Thank-you Veronica for more tools to reverse these illusions and move my clients and myself towards "mastery."
